ny7.JPG It was a coincidence to meet Tom Brook – Talking Movie BBC,

but the only reason I came to this wonderful city was my nephews. ny16.JPG ny15.JPG I never met them, since they’re born.

After spend 4 days & night in Manhattan, walked around in miles & miles, oo Lord Allah the Almighty, I wish I live here ! In this island, nowhere else !

Manhattan isn’t a place only for new concrete skycraper. Many building still has genuineArt Deco – Art Neuvo fasade.

The central park is also a soothing place in summer, everyone has special gate to enter this green oasis.

And the museum : Gugenheim, well its.. building is much interesting than its collectionny17.JPG

and MoMA, well.. again the collection seems like a resume, if you’ve been in the original places.

2005 Houston before Katrina

No tears leaving dry harsh Tucson to green glowing Huston :D Thank God we're back to civilization :D   44.JPGHouston JFK Space Centre is now more like Disneyland, that what my husband said :D while he's been here many times in the past. Downtown area feel like in S'pore, green lush & well manicured. Starbucks is in every corner, haleluya for my espresso-addicted husband :D   Museums are also soothing61.JPG

91.JPGLucky we could see Galveston Island before the Katrina devastated the area.

or better to experience everything without a mental map ! Once my mind has a picture of what a "forest" should look like, it's difficult to accept other kind of "forest" Yup, my forest should be thick lush green rainforest or Bavarian schwarzwald blackforest, not cacti, sand & stone like this :D

Once again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. For our 2nd daughter, this city is so special & amazing. For us, Tucson is an eyesore of lowrise buildings w/ depressing color & the landscape only cacti, sand, stone :D

But I learn something here :D how Tucsonian build their house.

We had a religious wedding in Jakarta, and to legalize it, we first flew around the world for almost 3 weeks, then took only 10 mins to register our marriage :D

For a week we stayed in Excalibur – on an intersection of MGM Grand & New York New York. This is a part of our “honeymoon” :D    We really spent a “month full of honey” :D 10 days in Germany, 2 weeks in Venezuela & now a week here :D

Alhamdulillahirobilalamin, Praise God the Almighty for this luxury. May our marriage life be happily ever after, Amen.
