1999 50 yrs PRC
Golden anniversary for PRC, and it means parade, party, fireworks & a week holiday. Only invited guest could come to Tian An Men Square to see the parade. The chinese people even forbide to welcome it from the street. Everyone should stay at home & watch it from tv.
We live in Regent Court or Li Jing Yuan in Mandarin, by the Jiangguo Men Wai Da Jie, the main avenue to the Square, where all the tanks, military vehicle, soldier, aircraft & all parade participant, for a month go back and forth, rehearse their performance in the D day.
There are 2 new pedestrian tunnel to cross this avenue, specialy built for this venue, so people could easy walk across without wait for the parade end. There is a new bridge in crossing of this avenue & San Huan Lu, so the parade could flow smoothly from the east to the Square.

the lovely Autumn is coming, Beijing is wonderful. All public park change as nature color festival. Many tourist from 2 season country like Indonesia, who never experiencing red-yellow-brown leaves, come to Beijing.

1999 BEIJING shuo Hanyu ba !!
1st priority must to do in Beijing for non Chinese speaking people : learn & master the language as fast as you can !! I took my 1st 3 weeks course nearby Lufthansa Center in San Huan Lu. It was so fun, my classmate come from all over the world, it's like a UN meeting than a Chinese lingo class.
Since my mission is to master the lingo, I should stop indulge my lovely UN class & take a serious one. This time is real deal.

Jacky Chan’s place is a 24/7 never sleep city. On the way back from our looong honeymoon, we stop 3 days in Hong Kong. One of my Boss in Jakarta is already send me a warrant email, do I still want my job ? The other Boss was so jealous, because my husband & I didn’t go to Bali, favorite honeymooner destination, but enjoying over 4 continent : Europe, North America, South America & now part of Asia.
